Queering Romford is a collaborative artwork, produced by local LGBTQIA+ identifying creatives and local students to explore identity as an artform.
Artist Sally Barton led contemporary art workshops inspired by her own practice. Visually exploring identity and our relationship to home, place, and landscape.
Sally Barton is a multidisciplinary artist born in Sheffield and based in London. Her practice explores her relationship to her hometown of Sheffield, stories of industrial history and masculinity. Barton reimagines the aesthetics of the North of England through photography, performance and installation. This workshop is in partnership with University of The Arts London and Kaleidoscope.
A private view for the exhibition launch will be held on June 16th from 6pm.
